Erohwa Progressive Union‏ gives kudos to Gov. Uduaghan

 

 

The Erohwa community has long been marginalized by all successive governments until the emergence of the current administration under the leadership of the present Governor, Dr Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan. The governor in collaboration with the state owned DESOPADEC and NDDC

has provided a lot of infrastructural development amenities to the Erohwa people, thereby making the community to feel the impact of democracy for the first time. Some of the completed amenities includes electricity, provision of pipe borne water, new classroom blocks, a comprehensive health centre (not commissioned),

street lights power by solar energy (constituency project by House of Rep) and rehabilitation of the Odio-logbo’s Palace while the skill acquisition centre is still under construction.
While the Erohwa community appreciate the kind gesture of the state government in the provision of infrastructural development to them, they also wish to appeal and request the following from both the federal and state government; construction of Erohwa/ Patani Road 5km, construction of two link roads, Erohwa to Uzere/ Patani Road under construction 3-4kms each, commissioning/ staff of Health centre –A functional health centre will reduce unemployment and improve health conditions in the community, establishment of SURE P in Erohwa as another means of reducing unemployment in the community.
Meanwhile those elected are: Lagos Branch, Prince Councillor Kome Akeni, chairman; Emma Ojadonor, vice chairman; John Francis Owolo, secretary general; Francis Gunn, treasurer; and Happy Aboiri, financial secretary.
